International Shipping

We are pleased to offer International shipping to selected countries. This service includes tracking, ensuring the secure and reliable delivery of your order. For faster delivery, we also offer an Express shipping option.

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Do I need a prescription to order from you?

All the products listed on our website are "over the counter" products in Australia and no prescription is required to order them from us.

The US FDA guidelines allows US residents to import over the counter pet medicines for personal use (i.e. not for resale). We serve many tens of thousands of customers in the US and elsewhere who receive their order without issue. 

Are your products Genuine?

All the products we sell are official Australian versions manufactured by the same manufacturers who makes the equivalent product for the USA market.

Where are your orders shipped from?

All our orders are shipped from Brisbane, Australia

Who do we use for Shipping?

We use Australia Post for shipping our international orders.

Australia Post partners with your local National Postal Service for the final delivery in your country.

Depending on your location, final delivery is facilitated by your local postal service, such as USPS in the United States, Royal Mail in the UK, Canada Post in Canada, and other national postal services.

How long will shipping take?

Most orders are dispatched from our warehouse within 1-3 business days from order confirmation.

  • International Standard Shipping usually takes 2 to 3 weeks for delivery
  • International Express Shipping usually takes 7 to10 business days for delivery

Sometimes orders may be delayed due to reasons such as processing time by customs or at peak times such as during holiday season. Unfortunately once an order is shipped we have no control over these delays.

Please ensure that there is a safe and secure place for the delivery company to leave your parcel. We accept no responsibility for, and will not give any refund for orders which are lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced once delivered to your address.

How can I track my order shipment?

Upon order dispatch, you will receive a dispatch email with the tracking details from us.

If you have not received a dispatch confirmation email within 5 business days of placing your order, please check that the email has not been stopped by a spam filter. If you can’t locate the dispatch confirmation email please contact us.

Enter the tracking number provided on the Australia post website. https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/search

You can also track the order using the same tracking number on your local postal service website (eg USPS, Canada Post etc websites)

In case you have any trouble with the tracking you can always contact us.

Credit Card Charges

All prices on our website are in Australian Dollars (AU$) so your purchase will be billed in AU$.

If your credit card is based in another country (eg United States US$ or Canada CAD etc.), then your credit card company will do a conversion to your local currency at the current conversion rate on that day.

You can check the current (approximate) conversion rate at https://www.xe.com/.

Please note your final conversion rate will vary slightly as each credit card company sets their own conversion rates daily. These may also be a conversion (or other) fee charged to you by your credit card company.

We have no control on the currency conversion rates or other fees and charges that will be applied by your credit company. Please contact your credit card company if you require further information.

Website Currency Selector

You can also see the approximate pricing in your local currency on our website by using the Currency Selector on the top right-hand corner of the website. Pls note this is an approximate price shown in your local currency as the final conversion rate (and fees) applicable to your order will be set by your credit card company once you complete the transaction.

International taxes and customs charges

International customers may be required to pay sales tax, duty and/or Customs charges in their home countries. All taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of the order or shipping charge.

Taxes and customs charges differ depending on the country and state of the shipping address. We suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of the applicable taxes and customs fees that are relevant to you. Aussie Vet Products is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested during the shipment of your order.

It is our experience that most of our US, UK, Canada, Singapore, Hong-Kong, & UAE customers have not experienced any additional customs fees and charges applied to their orders.

Products Returned due to Customs Restrictions

Some products that are readily available to us in Australia may not be allowed to be imported into your country (usually due to quarantine requirements mainly seen in the EU and New Zealand).

If your order is returned to us due to customs or non-delivery for any other reason, we will refund the AU$ value of the products only minus a AU$15 return postage fee.

We will not refund the original shipping cost paid as we would have paid this to Australia post already.

All returned Items must reach us in their original (new) unopened & undamaged packaging. The products must be in a new & sellable condition for us to issue a refund. We reserve the right to reject any return/refunds that we believe have been used or consider to be un-saleable.

How can I edit/add anything to my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible to make changes to your order and we will do our best to assist you prior to your order being shipped.

Once an order is shipped, we are unable to make changes to the order and our Returns Policy will apply (see below).

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.  Please include your order number and the reason for cancellation in your message.

International orders can only be cancelled before they have been dispatched. If your order has already been shipped, please refer to our return policy (see below) for further instructions.

We will make every effort to process your cancellation before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that your email will be reviewed in time.

Returns for Change of Mind, Incorrect product purchased, Return as no longer rqd

Once your international order has been shipped and has left our warehouse, we are then unable to return/exchange any items due to change of mind, or if you ordered the wrong product, or if you no longer need the product.

Please contact us as soon as you can if you need to change your order or if you made an order mistake as we are unable recall international orders once they have been shipped.

New Zealand Shipping

We have currently stopped shipping to NZ due to the large amount of orders returned to us due to the very stringent New Zealand quarantine/customs requirements.

We can ship orders to NZ on a case-by-case basis but the shipping risk will be yours and we will only refund the products in the case they are returned to us.
