Which intestinal wormer is best for my dog?

Protecting your dog against intestinal worms is important to keep your dog healthy and to stop other dogs from coming into contact with contaminated faeces at the local park. Intestinal worms such as round worms, hook worms, whipworms and tapeworms can be prevented by dosing your dog at a minimum of once every 3 months. If you have young children and your dog is regularly going for walks, a monthly intestinal worming routine is essential for ensuring they are properly protected.
In addition to this all puppies need to be wormed every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age and then at monthly intervals for at least the first 12 months.
Below is a chart to help you decide which intestinal wormer is best for your dog’s particular weight and age. It is important to note that if your dog is in between two weight ranges to always select the tablet that covers a larger weight to be sure that the product provides the correct effectiveness.
