Advocate For Dogs Is All Round Treatment For Roundworms Hookworms Whipworms Heartworm Fleas Lice And Mites
Key Features: Advocate offers comprehensive protection against fleas, mites, lice, heartworm, and intestinal worms. It does not safeguard against hydatid tapeworm or ticks. This product is especially recommended for dogs residing in areas with a low tick risk.
Usage Guidelines: Advocate is administered topically once a month. Please weigh your dog and adhere to the packaging instructions for the correct dosage. Precautions
- Safe for use in puppies from 7 weeks of age. The safety of Advocate has not been established in pregnant and lactating females. Becomes waterproof after 2 hours.
- Advocate does not guard against paralysis ticks, which pose a risk in various parts of Australia, particularly the Eastern Coastline. To counteract ticks, we recommend combining Advocate with a Seresto collar or switching to a tick preventative product. It also does not protect against hydatid tapeworm, which can be transmitted through the consumption of the organs of deceased animals. If this is a concern for your dog, pair Advocate with Drontal every 6 weeks.
- If your dog has not consistently been on heartworm prevention, consult a veterinarian before starting Advocate. If you have any uncertainties regarding dosing this product, please reach out to your vet.

It is recommended heartworm disease prevention is used for all domestic dogs year-round throughout Australia.
Before use, best advice is to see a veterinarian regarding heartworm testing for your dog in any of the following circumstances:
- Dogs that have missed monthly heartworm treatments
- Dogs that have never been given heartworm treatments
- Dogs given heartworm treatment for the first time after 2 months of age
