Avitrol Mite and Lice is the most widely used spray to control feathered mites and lice on caged birds and their environments.

Product features:

Not recommended for birds intended for human consumption.

Directions for use:

Prior to use, remove all food and water from cages or area to be treated.
Hold the spray roughly 40cm away from the bird and spray directly onto the feathers, Avoiding the area around the eyes.
To avoid re-infestation treat the caged area, any perches, nest boxes or places where the bird like to sit as mites will lay their eggs in secluded places.
Repeat as necessary when scratching or biting symptoms re-occur.
